By purchasing my art services you automatically agree to the following conditions. Please read this entirely and carefully.
If you have any questions, please contact me. If you aren't comfortable with my TOS and / or aren't going to agree to them I suggest you to look for another artist.


 

PROCEDURE
 

• The client will be expected to first read my TOS and preferably understand my general commission prices.

• You will then contact me regarding your proposed project, revealing any details (including, but not needed, your proposed budget, size specifics, desired colors / details / accessoires, any possible constrains, etc.)

• Please always be clear when giving details or asking for changes. Use of example images, palettes and gallery examples is encouraged.

COPYRIGHT
 

• I'll send you the full resolution picture, but my signature will remain on it.

• I own the artwork. so I may do whatever I wish with the art, as example post it to other sites such as Instagram, but with proper credit to you!

ARTIST
 

• By commissioning me you're purchasing my services as an artist only.

• I retain all copyrights over my work, which include but aren't limited to the right to:

  • redistribute, reproduce or use it as a sample for sales / self-promotion unless otherwise agreed upon.

• I'll respect your request privacy if you'd prefer me not to post your project publicly. But if this is the case you need to purchase into a private commission. More infos can be found if you keep scrolling down.

• I won't claim the intellectual property or reuse / resell your project / design for personal or commercial projects unless agreed upon.

• I reserve the right to decline any project or client for any reason without questions.

• I reserve the right to use rejected sketches for any future projects, be it personal or otherwise.

CLIENT
 

• The commissioner may display my work on external sites as long as it is visibly credited, linked back to me and doesn't claim it as their art.

• Once a piece has been commissioned, you may use it for personal uses including but not limited to:

  • signatures, icons, avatars, layouts, wallpaper, themes and personal page / site displays.

• You're free to print out the picture or even make whatever merchandise you want as long as it's for your personal use only and not for sale.

• You retain rights to the intellectual property.

YOU AREN'T ALLOWED TO...
 

• ...change, modify, edit my work without my permission

• ...set it up for redistribution, external projects, commercial or non-commercial (like t-shirts, mugs, public flyers, etc.)

• ...reproduce and sell the artwork.

• ...use my art as a base for anything, meaning you're not allowed to trace over my artwork in any way.

• ...claim the artwork as your own or anyone elses than mine.

• ...harass me to get a slot on my commissions.

• ...spam me or my profiles with rude messages / comments.

PRICING
 

• I suggest you to read this first if you have any complain about my pricing.

• I'll price my commissions as high as I want to, if you think I'm too expensive I suggest you to search another artist. I go after my effort and skill level, when I think the price is right, it is.

• If you're here for rude comments about my pricing I'll blacklist you.

COMMERCIAL COMISSIONS
 

• If you want to order an illustration for commercial use, the price will have to be agreed on.

• Prices will probably double up or more.

• The following cases are considered commercial use:

  • reproducing and selling the artwork

  • when you receive profit in the medium where you're using it (like Patreon, YouTube videos, banner of a personal site, business cards, etc.)

PRIVATE COMISSIONS
 

• If you request the commission to be private an extra fee per picture will be incurred. This is because I lose out on my chance to display my current skills for potential customers

HOW TO ORDER
 

• Please send me a message and fill out the form for the Commission type you'd like to order. These can be found here. 

• Additional information can be added.

• Wait for my answer so we can discuss any details if needed.

CHARGEBACKS
 

• If for some reason your PayPal account isn't working or authorizes a refund request without you knowing somehow, you must contact me as soon as possible in order to resolve the issue.

• Issuing a chargeback without contacting me to cancel / refund a project will result in immediate blacklisting for you, as well as your email address and anyone sharing your paypal account, including side accounts.

• Absolutely don't ever issue a chargeback to my paypal. Doing so can compromise all of my family's finances, my paypal, my bank account, the failure of automatic bill payments, etc.

• If you absolutely need to cancel a project you MUST contact me for a refund.

PAYMENT PROCESS
 

• I'll only accept PayPal as payment.

• I require full payment before I start the artwork. All payment is due up front.

• Commissions will never be started unless I receive full payment (exceptions may apply).

• PayPal payments will only be accepted in EUR. (If you don't know how much the price is in your currency use this converter).

• If payment isn't made in a timely manner the commission will be cancelled.

• I'll add you to my to-do list once payment is cleared and details are given.

• My to-do list can be found here or on my commission page. If you want to know how far I've come with your order just look it up there.

• If a commissioner repeatedly commissions me but in the end ALWAYS FAILS TO PAY I'll consider you a time-waster and blacklist you.

 

 

 

NOTES FOR ORDERING
 

• Completed forms are considered first. Please make sure to note me your form.

• References must be clear and full in color. Pictures such as photos are OK however the result may not meet your expactations due to it not being in a complete form.

REFUND RULES
 

• I can refund 100% of the payment ONLY if I haven't started working on the sketch.

• Once I start your Commission I can't refund you the full amount.

• Because of PayPal fees, taxes and transfer fees I can only refund 80% if by clients fault.

• If I cancel a project however I'll reimburse the lost fees and refund 100%.

  • Not started: 100% refund

  • (Clean) sketch: 60% refund + sketch is sent

  • Once I'll reach the lineart status there'll be NO REFUNDS

 

 

 

ABOUT QUEUE / SCHEDULING
 

• If you have a deadline / time constraints you must tell me before paying.

• When waiting for me to complete a project for you please remember that I'm a full time student and I often come home very late. I have to do school projects and I have many other duties such as house chores.

• If you've paid me I promise to do my best to fulfill your order as soon as possible, I'm very grateful for your support!

 

 

 

DEADLINE
 

• You may set a deadline if you wish but it must be reasonable. I don't have time to work on your piece 24/7.

• If you need your finished piece quickly and wish for your commission to be PRIORITY there'll be a fee depending on how fast you want it done.

 

 

 

WORK SPEED

 

• I'll try to finish your commission as fast as I can, however be patient with me

• Maximum time I need to finish a digital commission could take up to 3 months, but normally I need around 1-2 weeks to finish a commission piece. (This only applies for when I start your commission!)

• If I have a bunch of stuff to do before your order you need to calculate this time on top of your waiting time. Check my to-do list whenever you want for a status update.

• I tend to work when I feel most motivated so that your commission is done properly and with the best effort.

 

 

 

COMMUNICATION
 

• Communication is the core of a good commission. Please don't be afraid to ask or tell me anything you need to know / want me to know.

• If your english isn't that good, don't worry. As long as the core-meaning is understandable I'll most likely get it.

• I am also fluent in German and a little bit in french, if any of you is a native speaker and if this makes it easier for our communication feel free to speak in german or french.

• I'll not serve rude / disrespectful / abusive clients. Those will have their commission immediately canceled with a refund based on how much artwork was completed already.

SWITCHING OUT A CHARACTER
 

• As long as I haven't started your commission it's no problem at all to change the character.

 

​

​

CHANGES

 

• Once the picture is finished I can do small changes such as color adjustments and / or adding tiny details I may have forgotten.

• The responsibility is on you to ensure your order contains the details you want me to follow.

• I won't redraw commissions unless payment is sent for a second order.

​

CLIENT WORK PRESERVATION DISCLAIMER
 

• It's wholy the clients duty to retain and save any information, sketches, finished works and any other digital items I provide for them.

• I have the right to delete or remove any public project if you paid for it, as you should have your own copy for personal use.

By commissioning me, it means you have read and accepted all the terms outlined above. Here you'll agree to the policy of using the art for personal, non-profit purposes unless otherwhise stated and provide all image credits to me, beescuit at toyhou.se / beescuit.deviantart.com. Violaters will be added to my blacklist without any warnings either temporary or permanently.
